Ladies Team win through to Leamington Spa

Our club Ladies Senior Fours team won at Ampthill. I quote the captain's email on the match -

We’re delighted to report that our Senior Ladies Four were crowned the county champions, beating Ampthill in a rain delayed and rain affected final played at a waterlogged Henlow Bowls Club. The four now go forward to the National Finals of the Senior 4’s at Leamington Spa, to be played on Sunday 17 August, where they will represent Bedfordshire. It was a great achievement for our ladies and thank you to everyone who supported us, both in person and in spirit. The rain delay of 24 hours meant many couldn’t come along on Sunday but your support for us was hugely appreciated. Onwards and upwards, Leamington here we come!
