About the Bowls Club

The Club is located in Bedford Park, which runs alongside Park Avenue in Bedford. The club grounds are at the top of the park, behind the Pavilion Cafe. Both Ladies and Gentlemen play in most matches, and we have been a mixed club for some years. Being an outdoor only club, we bowl from late April to the end of September. We have a reputation (well deserved!) of being one of the most friendly and welcoming clubs in the area. New members are always welcome, and anyone can come along to our "Roll-Ups" on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 2pm until 4pm. All you need is flat shoes ! If you arrive by car, please park in the public car park, above the Swiming Pool (entrances off Foster Hill Road); and walk to our club. Car Parking is free (for up to 3 hours), but you need a ticket from the machine.

Bowling is good, gentle, exercise with friendly people. Come and try it!
